O PRIMEIRO POEMA SINFÓNICO DO MUNDO! Esta gravação data de 1953 e pertence ao disco de 78 R.P.M. editado pela Fábrica Portuguesa de Discos da Rádio Triunfo, com o selo da firma “Melodia” e a matriz “D 09097”, onde a Grande Orquestra Sinfónica da Rádio Moscovita da União das Repúblicas Socialistas Soviéticas, que hoje ostenta o nome “Orquestra Sinfónica Tchaikovsky”, sob a regência do maestro Nikolai Golovanov, interpreta os 2 primeiros poemas sinfónicos de Liszt, que são “Bergsymphonie” (que escutamos aqui) e “Tasso – Lamento e Triunfo”. Este foi o 1º poema sinfónico da História do Mundo: “A Sinfonia da Montanha”, poema sinfónico inspirado numa poesia de Victor Hugo, de seu nome “Folhas de Outono”. Catalogada com o “S. 95”, o seu nome de origem é “Ce qu'on entend sur la montagne”, em português “O que se ouve na montanha”, e em alemão “Bergsymphonie”, daí o título em questão: “A SINFONIA DA MONTANHA”. Em 1833, Liszt compôs um esboço da obra, dedicando-se posteriormente ao seu aperfeiçoamento em 1848, e à sua instrumentação em 1849, sendo de 1854 a sua versão final, que escutamos aqui por Bernard Haitinik e a Filarmónica de Londres, e que, tal como a obra de Victor Hugo, explora a dualidade complexa entre a "voz jovial e pacífica" da natureza e o "pranto" da humanidade sempre revoltada. Foi concebida para a seguinte instrumentação: 3 flautas, 2 oboés, 3 clarinetes, 2 fagotes, 4 trompas, 3 trompetes, tuba, percussão, harpa e instrumentos de corda. Na 1ª parte, os temas da natureza e da humanidade são expostos, bem diferenciados. As cordas iniciam com um “Poco allegro”. O oboé e flauta continuam, chegado os metais posteriormente, com remate em “Majestoso assaz”. Os temas da humanidade são expostos num “Allegro agitado assaz”, e finalmente, termina num “Andante” com os trombones e a tuba, que simbolizam a presença de Deus. Na 2ª parte, os temas são reexpostos, mas com fagotes, trompas e trompetes num “Andante religioso”, terminando tudo num "pianíssimo" com o timbale a concluir. Assim exemplifica esta interpretação da Grande Orquestra da Rádio Moscovo, dirigida por Nikolai Golovanov, naquela que é considerada como a melhor execução mundial da “Sinfonia da Montanha” de Liszt, que em muitos momentos pode ser excêntrico, mas é completamente emocional e totalmente no espírito do poema de Victor Hugo, em proporção ao domínio completo da orquestra em todos os aspectos, numa interpretação electrizante que, segundo os especialistas, envergonha o estado deplorável dos maestros de hoje que representam o legado sinfónico de Liszt.
