Beethoven’s Fourth
I love the symphony number 4 by Beethoven. Not only is it wonderfully melodic, but also I find in it great calm and solace during troubled times. In this new recording, the fourth is coupled with the Symphony Number One. Beethoven: Symphony No. 1 in C major, Op. 21 Symphony No. 4 in B flat major, Op. 60 Performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Kurt Masur conducting. This recording features the former Principal Conductor of the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Kurt Masur, who conducted more than 150 performances in London and internationally during his tenure (2000-07).
