The Royal Ballet and National Ballet of Canada to stage immersive production at London's Printworks in October 2017
The Royal Ballet and The National Ballet of Canada will collaborate on a unique immersive performance of Robert Binet ’s The Dreamers Ever Leave You at London's unique venue Printworks in October 2017. The UK premiere of the ballet will mark the 150th anniversary of Canadian Confederation and will be performed at vast and industrial former home of the Metro and Evening Standard newspapers' printing operations. It is inspired by Lawren Harris’ landscape paintings of land, light, and sky and is set to live music by Lubomyr Melnyk. The immersive staging will invite the audience to move through the space and experience the dancers' dynamic response to their surroundings.
