I grew up with the organ music of Cesar Franck, especially with the recordings of Jeanne Demessieux. My father visited a concert of her in the sixties and bought the four famous Decca LP's, which I still posses. So, the readings of Demessieux became my reference and till today, nobody played the works of the famous Belgian composer with such poetry and power, when needed. In the nineties the Dutch label Festivo transferred the recordings to CD.A real 'must have' for everyone, who likes these organ works!
