Mozart composed many concertos for piano. 27 of them survive. Today I listened to the #26 which he composed 233 years ago! Imagine the creative genius who died in 1791, and the impact he has on me so many years later. What gorgeous sounds these are. The first and third movements are filled with joy, happiness and grace. The middle movement reminds us that he, too, had his challenges with livelihood, health, and more. Here is Oxana Shevchenko to allow you to experience these magiacal sounds:

For the first time today, I listened to Oxana Shevchenko play the Sonata Op. 31 #3 by Beethoven. I was delighted and impressed with her abilities, and her sensitive perfomance. Oxana Shevchenko graduated from the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory, where she studied piano with Professor Elena Kuznetsova and her assistant Sergey Kuznetsov. Later she completed her Master studies at the Royal College of Music in London, with Professor Dmitry Alexeev and at the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne, with Professor Jean-Francois Antonioli. Oxana is currently studying with Professor Benedetto Lupo at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome. I invite
