Legendary Russian Concertmaster Yuri Zagorodnyuk has passed away. A graduate of the Leningrad Conservatory, where he studied with Mikhail Vaiman, Mr Zagorodnyuk had served as Concertmaster of the Mariinsky Theatre Opera and Symphony Orchestras since 1975.
