Classical music: The Oakwood Chamber Players perform an unusual holiday program with a Wisconsin premiere twice this coming Sunday afternoon

Additionally, the Oakwood Chamber Players will perform music mentioned in the text of Charles Dickens ’s A Christmas Carol. When the Ghost of Christmas Past shows Scrooge a celebration hosted by his employer, Mr. Fezziwig, the fiddler plays the tune Sir Roger de Coverley . (You can hear a chamber orchestra version of the work, played by the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields under Sir Neville Marriner , in the YouTube video at the bottom.) Unusual English Christmas Music Finzi In terra pax
