The year 1778 in classical music and in lyrical art
1778. With other artists, Frederick II of Prussia, John Wesley and Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach influenced their time (classical era). That year would see the birth of future classical or lyrical artists, such as Johann Nepomuk Hummel, while others would disappear.
