The year 1789 in classical music and in lyrical art
1789. With other artists, Domenico Cimarosa, Joseph Haydn and John Wesley influenced their time (classical era). That year would see the birth of future classical or lyrical artists, such as Maria Szymanowska, while others would disappear. That year, new works would be composed, published or performed for the first time in public, such as “Clarinet Quintet in A major, “Stadler”” de Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, for example.
