The year 1809 in classical music and in lyrical art
1809. With other artists, Carl Maria von Weber, Ludwig van Beethoven and E. T. A. Hoffmann influenced their time (classical era / romantic era). That year would see the birth of future classical or lyrical artists, while others would disappear such as Joseph Haydn. That year, new works would be composed, published or performed for the first time in public, such as “Symphony No. 5 in C minor, Op. 67” de Ludwig van Beethoven, for example.
All these moments, more or less notable, make the year 1809 a page in the history of classical and lyrical music to be discovered or rediscovered. soclassiq currently lists more than 120 of these moments for 1809.
