The year 1824 in classical music and in lyrical art
1824. With other artists, Aleksander Griboyedov, Antonio Salieri and Franz Schubert influenced their time (romantic era). That year would see the birth of future classical or lyrical artists, such as Bedřich Smetana, while others would disappear. That year, new works would be composed, published or performed for the first time in public, such as “Symphony No. 9 in D minor, Op. 125” de Ludwig van Beethoven, for example.
