The year 1833 in classical music and in lyrical art
1833. With other artists, Felix Mendelssohn, Gaetano Donizetti and Vincenzo Bellini influenced their time (romantic era). That year would see the birth of future classical or lyrical artists, such as Johannes Brahms, while others would disappear. That year, new works would be composed, published or performed for the first time in public, such as “The Fairies” de Richard Wagner, for example. That year, halls or orchestras would be founded or ceased to operate.
