The year 1839 in classical music and in lyrical art
1839. With other artists, Robert Schumann, Gaetano Donizetti and Felix Mendelssohn influenced their time (romantic era). That year would see the birth of future classical or lyrical artists, such as Modest Petrovich Mussorgsky, while others would disappear.
