1941. With other artists, Pietro Mascagni, Béla Bartók and Richard Strauss influenced their time (modern & contemporary era). That year would see the birth of future classical or lyrical artists, such as Plácido Domingo, while others would disappear. That year, new works would be composed, published or performed for the first time in public, such as “Symphony No. 7 in C major, Op. 60, “Leningrad”” de Dmitri Shostakovich, for example.
