(http•••) Drone footage by Dario Guadagnoli 22-year-old violinist Aubree Oliverson is proving to be one of America's most promising young artists. Her performances have been described by the Miami New Times as “endearing and powerful… brimming with confidence and joy” and “masterful… [with a] rich and warm sonority,” by the San Diego Story. Aubree made her solo debut with the Utah Symphony at age eleven and has since been devoted to pursuing a life in music. She has garnered several accolades, including her Carnegie Hall Weill Hall recital debut at age twelve as winner of the American Protégé International Strings Competition, several featured performances on NPR’s hit radio show From The Top, a 2016 National YoungArts Foundation Award, the prestigious Dorothy DeLay Fellowship and concerto performance at the Aspen Music Festival, and winner of the 2016 U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts, the highest honor the U.S. government can bestow on a high school student. She has collaborated with artists such as Stefan Jackiw and Robert McDuffie in Harris Hall at the Aspen Music Festival and School, with Lynn Harrell, Jean-Yves Thibaudet, Orli Shaham, Andrew Marriner, and Clive Greensmith as part of the Colburn Chamber Music Society in Los Angeles, and with Gil Shaham on tour in Mexico. SongHa Choi, young South Korean violinist, is the winner of Senior 2nd Prize and the Audience Award in the 2016 Yehudi Menuhin Violin Competition, as well as the 2nd prize, Bach prize and the sonata prize in the 2020 Premio Lipizer International Violin Competition, Grand First Prize of 2018 Berlin International Competition, and 1st prizes at the 2019 Manhattan International Music Competition and 2015 Jeunesses Musicales International Violin Competition. Described as being "mesmerising: full of passion, imagination and daring" by the Times UK, SongHa Choi performed as a soloist with numerous orchestras, including Lithuanian National Symphonic Orchestra, Westminster philharmonic Orchestra, Yongin Philharmonic Orchestra, Barnet Symphony orchestra and Sinfonia of Cambridge. She has recently given solo performances in venues including the Berliner Philharmonie Kammermusiksaal, the Royal Festival Hall in London, the National Philharmonic Hall in Vilnius and the Wigmore Hall in London, and chamber performances in venues such as the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Alte Oper in Frankfurt.
