Franz Liszt Venezia e Napoli Tarantella, 13.09.1998 Konzert unter der Leitung von prof. Rudolf Kehrer. Larissa wurde am 15.04.1964 in Zelinograd/Rußland geboren. Sie begann bereits mit 7 Jahren mit dem Klavierunterricht. Mit 17 Jahren debütierte sie mit dem 1. Klavierkonzert von F. Liszt. 1986 nahm sie ihr Klavierstudium bei Prof. Sergey G. Beloglasov am "Musorgski" Konservatorium (Hochschule für Musik) in Jekaterinburg auf, das sie mit Auszeichnung im Jahr 1991 abschloss. 1990 gewann sie den 1. Preis beim Klavierwettbewerb in Jekaterinburg. 1992-1994 nahm sie an verschiedenen Sendungen des Zentralfernsehens der Stadt Moskau teil. Seit 1996 lebt sie in Deutschland. Sie absolvierte die Meisterklasse bei den Klaviermeistern: Sviatoslaw Richter (Moskau), Rudolf Kehrer (Moskau) Bernard Ringeissen (Paris)

Greece. iTunes: (http•••) Amazon: (http•••) Spotify: (http•••) Google: (http•••) / Evangelia Mitsopoulou Born in Thessaloniki, the Greek pianist Evangelia Mitsopoulou, earning a Bachelor’s degree in musicology and a second degree in Italian from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, she graduated summa cum laude in piano performance from Thessaloniki’s State Conservatory of Music, where she also received highlight marks in harmony, counterpoint, fugue, and orchestration. Work toward her Ph.D. in musicology (2010) at the University Macedonia of Thessaloniki, was crowned by the world-premiere performance of an unpublished solo-piano transcription prepared by Liszt’s pupil Carl Tausig of Liszt’s Dante Symphony. In 2010-2011 Professor Mitsopoulou continued her post-doctoral studies as a Fulbright Artist Scholar at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in the United States under the guidance of Professor Michael Saffle. She has also worked with master pianists Marie-Françoise Bucquet, Luiz de Moura Castro, Bernard Ringeissen, and Martino Tirimo. Her studies with Paul Badura-Skoda in Vienna were supported by a two-year scholarship “Prize Gina Bachauer” from Mundo en Armonia, Madrid; Princess Irene of Spain personally presented her with that award. “...Ms. Mitsopoulou is a gifted pianist, highly intelligent and experienced as a performer of a wide repertoire...” Paul Badura-Skoda, 2007 Professor Mitsopoulou won first prize in the Panhellenic-Cipriot Piano Competition “Gold Muse” (2003) and she received the “Eleni Tim. Mykoniou” Prize (2002) given by the Academy of Athens, the highest distinction bestowed in Greece on young musicians. As first-prize winner of the 2014 Brandshaw & Buono International Piano Competition, she was invited to present a recital at New York City’s Carnegie Hall. “It was the consensus of the judges that your performance reflects the depth of interpretation, musicality, and technical expertise needed to distinguish oneself in the world of professional performance, and we are very pleased to award you this honor. We also extend the thanks of our judges and staff, who agree that the high level of your talent made it an honor to have you participate. Your playing was exceptional filled with expression, intelligence and individuality. In June 2006, she was invited by the famous Greek pianist Janis Vakarelis to perform at the Nafplion Festival held in honor of the thirtieth anniversary of Gina Bachauer’s death. As a member of the Aristotle University Orchestra, Professor Mitsopoulou interpreted works of Mikis Theodorakis under his direction. She has also given premiere performances of Greek composers'works by Menelaos Pallantios, Christos Samaras, Yorgos Sisilianos, etc, and recently of Aspasia Nasopoulou’s Nanourisma for flute and piano dedicated to her. Her articles and chapters have appeared in Music in Art, the Quaderni dell’Istituto Liszt of Bologna, and monographs published by Musikproduction Höflich, INTER-TEXTS, and Pendragon Press. She is piano teacher at the Music School of Thessaloniki.
