Haydn sonata performed on Walter fortepiano! This is the Finale, Molto Vivace. Joseph Haydn himself owned a Walter (now in Eisenstadt Haydn-Haus museum) It is specially interesting that the lid of Haydn's personal Walter is made from the same piece of wood as the lid of Mozart's personal Walter, now in Salzburg museum. The piano, used in recording is a concert quality copy made by modern fortepiano builder Paul McNulty. Please subscribe to our YouTube cannel for more fortepiano videos!
