Le 12 décembre le Bilkent Symphony Orchestra donnera à Ankara, en Turquie, un concert mené par trois femmes : la chef d’orchestre grecque Stamatia Karampini , la violoniste japonaise Sayaka Shoji et en violon solo invité de l’orchestre, Alexandra Conunova qui est née en Moldavie. Le BSO a été fondé en 1993. Composé de musiciens turcs et de douze nationalités différentes, il est le premier ensemble international privé de Turquie. Au programme de ce concert qui sera donné au Bilkent Konser Salonu à Ankara (Turquie) le concerto de violon de Sibelius, la Symphonie « Inachevée » de Schubert et la rare Symphonie n°10 de Beethoven complétée par Barry Cooper .

Le gala 2015 des International Classical Music Awards à Bilkent
Après Tampere, Nantes, Milan et Varsovie, la cérémonie et le gala des International Classical Music Awards étaient organisés par l’Orchestre symphonique de Bilkent en Turquie. L’Orchestre symphonique de Bilkent est l’une des plus importantes institutions musicales de Turquie. Fondé en 1993, il dépend de l’université de Bilkent, un campus d’enseignement privé dont la haute réputation n’est plus à faire. Bénéficiant d’une magnifique salle de concert à l’acoustique généreuse, cette phalange dynamique et enthousiaste accueillait la cérémonie et le concert de gala 2015 des International Classical Music Awards. En ouverture du concert, deux immenses pianistes offraient l’introduction instrumentale de cette soirée : Zhu Xiao-Mei dans un extrait des Variations Goldberg de Bach et Evgeni Koroliov dans l’Andantino de la Sonate D.959 de Schubert. The International Classical Music Awards (ICMA) organized their Award Ceremony and Gala Concert yesterday, 28 March at the Bilkent Concert Hall in Warsaw, hosted by the Bilkent Symphony Orchestra conducted by Isin Metin. The Award Ceremony was presented by ICMA’s President Remy Franck, and awards were given to such artists as Dmitrij Kitajenko, Christian Tetzlaff, YuryRevich, Jodie Devos, Evgeny Koroliov, Xiao-Mei Zhu, Adam Fischer, Wu Wei, John Holloway, the Seoul Philharmonic, the Bilkent Symphony, BIS CEO Robert von Bahr and many more. After the Award Ceremony, the Gala concert took place at the Bilkent Hall. Zhu Xiao-Mei opened the concert with the Aria from Johann Sebastian Bach’s Goldberg Variations and pianist Evgeni Koroliov played the Andantino from Franz Schubert’s Piano Sonata D 959. Isin Metin To Conduct 2015 Gala Concert With The Bilkent Symphony
The ICMA Gala Concert on March 28 in the magnificent Bilkent Hall in Ankara, Turkey, will be conducted by Isin Metin. He is conducting all the pieces with soloists. Three guest conductors, Dmitrij Kitajenko, Adam Fischer and Alexander Liebreich will also be part of the program. The Bilkent Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1993 as a unique artistic project of Bilkent University. Developed and managed by the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts, the orchestra is composed of musicians from Turkey and 12 other countries. With these characteristics the Bilkent Symphony Orchestra is the first « private, international and academic » artistic ensemble of Turkey.
