Mozart, Violinkonzert Nr. 1 B-Dur KV 207 Aus der Philharmonie im Gasteig, München mit Valery Gergiev Und Vilde Frang Das ganze Konzert sehen Sie hier: (http•••) Mozart, Violin Concerto No.1 in B-flat major, K.207 From the Philharmonie Gasteig, Munich with Valery gergiev and Vilde Frang See the whole concert here: (http•••) On the occasion of the MPHIL 360° festival, Valery Gergiev brings together at the Philharmonie im Gasteig the Münchner Philharmoniker, the Mariinski Orchestra and five highly promising young violin talents: Vilde Frang, Sergej Dogadin, Alexander Conunova, Yu-Chien Tseng and Daniel Lozakovich. Together they perform all five of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s violin concertos. The concerts constitute an impressive encounter of excellent musicians, who “show off in questions of virtuosity” (Süddeutsche Zeitung). Once again, “Musicmaniac” Gergiev’s motto is “‘Think Big!’ Success proves him right” (Münchner Merkur). Valery Gergiev was born in Moscow. He studied conducting with Ilya Musin at the Leningrad Conservatory. Already as a student he was granted the award of the Herbert von Karajan Conducting Competition in Berlin. In 2003 he became the first Russian conductor since Tchaikovsky to direct the opening concert for the season at Carnegie Hall. Today he is a popular guest on all great concert stages. With the Mariinsky ensemble he presents highlights of the Russian ballet and opera repertoire, Wagner’s Ring Cycle as well as all symphonies of Shostakovich and Prokofiev. Together with the LSO he regularly performed at the Barbican, the Proms and the Edinburgh Festival. His career as conductor has been highlighted by numerous awards, such as the Grammy, the Polar Music Prize, the Herbert von Karajan Award and the Prize of the All-Union Conductors’ Competition in Moscow. Since the 2015/16 season Valery Gergiev has held the position of Principal Conductor of the Munich Philharmonics. fidelio - Ihr digitaler Klassiktreffpunkt www.myfidelio.at www.facebook.com/myfidelio www.instagram.com/myfidelio_at www.twitter.com/myfidelio_at blog.myfidelio.at Mit freundlicher Genehmigung durch Unitel GmbH & Co.
