World Premiere performance recording of Dary John Mizelle's Requiem and Kyrie from Grand Requiem Mass in a version for chorus and soloists, with piano four hands and electronic music. Performed by the C4 choral ensemble with pianists Tamara Cashour and Jinhee Han. Soloists include: Rebecca Ehren, soprano, Hilary Purrington, mezzo-soprano, Joseph Rubinstein, tenor, and Brian Mountford, baritone. Performance was at The Church of the Transfiguration in New York City on May 15, 2018. Text: Requiem aeternam dona eis Domine: et lux perpetua luceat eis. Te decit hymnus, Deus in Sion, et tibi reddetur votum in Jerusalem.: exaudi orationem meam, ad te omnis caro veniet. Requiem aeternam dona eis Domine: et lux perpetua luceat eis. Kyrie elison, Christe elison, Kyrie elison. World Premiere performance of Quintet for Strings by Dary John Mizelle. Performed by The Klang Quartet plus Steven Moran, double bass. The performance was made on February 21, 2017 at St. Peters Church in New York City. conducted by the composer. The Klang Quartet consists of Gragor Kitzis, Whitney LaGrange, violins, Kim Foster, viola and Kate Dillingham, cello. The concert was sponsored by the New York Composers Circle, Video by Hubert Howe.
