Leonid Kogan Mstislav Rostropovich Ivan Khandoshkin Sauret Paganini
Leonid Kogan, violin Mstislav Rostropovich, cello Recorded ~1950s Two Russian Songs with Variations, Op.4 No.2, "What I Lose, I Love" Ivan Khandoshkin, composer Over the last ten years, I've collected just about every recording of Leonid Kogan that I could find. Recently I began remastering the recordings that I've enjoyed listening to for such a long time. I'm not an audio engineer so this process is simple, but I think these slight adjustments can go a long way and really bring out the core of Kogan's sound. Feel free to see my most recent uploads, starting with the Sauret cadenza to Paganini's VC1. Please subscribe if you'd like more content!
