Jose Carbo My Latin Heart Antena Hispana is a non- for profit Production Company Jose Carbo en un Concierto en Melbourne.Jose Carbo My Latin Heart By The Hoopla Music is the first language of internationally acclaimed baritone José Carbó. "My father introduced me to the guitar as soon as he thought my little fingers could make sense of a fret board," he says. "This, combined with a myriad of family musical gatherings (both in Argentina / where José grew up - and Australia), not only opened my ears to the world of harmonic possibility, but allowed my soul to revel in the sheer joy that music can give." All of the sheet music used to arrange and record his new album, My Latin Heart, was given to him by his grandfather when he was 26 years old. Comprising a unique collection of tango songs, José believes that it was his destiny to produce this style of music. "It is as if fate ordained that I sing as a baritone / so I could record Grandpa's tangos one day." Joined by Australia's favourite guitarists, Slava & Leonard Grigoryan, My Latin Heart is a highly passionate album José is proud to share with the world. We caught up with José to find out what else / besides music / makes this latino talent tick. Apart from music, what other talent would you like to have? I would have loved to have been able to paint or sculpt. The fine arts have always been an immense inspiration for me. I can't help but appreciate the technical difficulty in either field and sympathise with the years of training and application necessary to hone such skills. What's your favourite virtue in others? My favourite virtue in others is the ability to be happy within one's self. Individuality, whether it manifests at whatever extreme should be embraced and encouraged at every opportunity. I adore and am drawn to those who exist from their core. Peripheral hype and buzz are a turn off. What makes you happy? My boys. My singing. My friends. My family. Food!! Coffee!!! Life. Love. What's your idea of misery? A life in limbo. Being born into a situation you are powerless to overcome or flee from. My heart goes out to all of those people who were born in a war torn nation. Fate can be very cruel. Refugees are not criminals. What's the soundtrack to your life right now? Just riding the "My Latin Heart" wave. Who knows where it will take me. Who cares. -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- Please watch: "ANTENA HISPANA-3" (http•••) -~-~~-~~~-~~-~-
