Quelle: Wikipedia/ The march "Peronne" was composed by Hans Felix Husadel. Husadel received his first piano lessons at a young age and also had a special talent for painting. After the First World War, he began his studies at the State Academy of Music in Berlin. In the subjects of piano and composition, he studied with Franz Schreker and Leo Schrattenholz, among others. In 1923 he joined the Reichswehr. From there he was detached to complete his music master's training, also at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik. This he completed in 1928 with the exam. He was then assigned to take charge of the music corps in the training battalion of the 14th (Baden) Infantry Regiment in Donaueschingen. The concerts of the music corps very quickly found themselves on the radio. In Donaueschingen he also came into contact with amateur music and became conductor of the very successful orchestra association there. Already at that time he made a name for himself with the reformed orchestra instrumentation and the creation of an authentic literature for it up to the responsible persons of the military music system. In the post-war years, the composer worked as a theater conductor in Berlin and Stendal. In addition, he formed a symphonic wind orchestra in Berlin, with which he played demanding works of wind music literature at the famous "Zoo Concerts". In 1953 Husadel moved his working group first to Ravensburg in Upper Swabia, where he founded his own publishing house, and later to neighboring Weingarten. As music director of the municipal orchestra there, he died at the conductor's podium on July 25, 1964, during an appreciation concert in Aulendorf. Husadel created over 300 compositions and arrangements during his lifetime. Moroi Beethoven Schrattenholz Sonn Hindemith Nhk Symphony Orchestra 1903 1932 1933 1934 1935 1937 1945 1977
Saburo Moroi+••.••(...)) is one of the neglected Japanese composer before and middle war. He adred Beethoven, analyzed all 32 piano sonatas, and composed several works which has well-constructed German neo-classicalism style. After graduating from Tokyo university, he went Berlin(just Nazi's rule beginning) in from 1932 to 1934. Most of his works is the absolute music, for details three symphonies, three piano concertos, concertos for several instruments and piano sonatas. This piano sonata has the name of the first sonata, but is actually his 'ninth' sonata. At his lifetime, ten piano sonatas were composed, the only rear two sonatas finally got the position of the formal works. It was written in 1933, soon after his enter in Musikhochschule in Berlin(There he was taught by Schrattenholz etc.) and performed by a German pianist at the school concert(I forgot his name). Moroi himself took Japan premier sonn after his return, in Jan 1935. This sonata is under the obvious influence of not only German comtemporaly music(Hindemith etc.), but French impressionism. It is techniqally difficult and complex far more than No.2 and seems to be the hardest Japanese piano work before 1945. Construction 1st mov. (Andante sostenuto - Allegro ma non troppo - Allegro molto - Andante - Andante sostenuto -Andantino cantabile - Tempo I - Allegro molto - Tempo I -Allegro molto -Maestroso - Meno mosso) Typical grand Sonata Allegro Preceded by the impressionistic prelude. It finishes brilliantly. 2nd mov.(7:10Adagio tranquillo - Andate sostenuto - Tempo I) Fantasic slow movement maybe based on French impressionism. In the middle part, on the right hand the melody is freely sung. 3rd mov. (12:18 Allegro con brio - 13:30 Lento tranquillo e espressivo -Tempo I -16:51 Molto allegro Frenec scherzo which starts with the very strong FF trill. The middle part Lento tranquillo e espressivo, has quite magical effect. In Coda speed up and become more demonish. 4th mov.(17:24 Theme and Variations: theme,I(Lento) - II(Poco piu mosso)- III~V(Allegro scherzando) - VI(Con brio) - VII(Canon:Maestroso)- VIII(Tranquillo) - IX(Andante espressivo) -X,XI(Allegretto) -XII(Molto allegro) -XIII(Fuga:Lento-Poco piu mosso con anime) -XIX(Coda:Lento) Well... on the contrary of the former three movements, both theme and variations this movement not so good as them, I think. I add the cadenza and finale from the 3rd movement from his Piano concerto No.1 in the same year. 26:06 This concerto was also composed in Berlin in 1933, and performed by 'Radio Orchestra', conducted by Reichelm and the solist is R.Schmitt. Japan premier was took place in 1937 by New Symphony Orchestra(The former NHK Symphony Orchestra) Defenitely these works shows Japanese composer already achieved the certain level but could not remain on repertory because it is too hard to play and Japanese audience was too premature at that time.
