Pejman, Ahmad (born July 8, 1935) Iranian contemporary composer and musician Childhood and Education He was born in Lar, one of the cities of Fars Province and at an early age, he became familiar with the rhythms and melodies of the south of Iran. In the years of high school, he started to learn violin under the supervision of master Heshmat Sanjari and learned the theory of music from Hossein Nasehi. In 1963 he completed the course of the university in the field of English Literature in the Higher House of Knowledge (Daneshsara-ye-Ali) and in 1964 by receiving the scholarship, left Iran for Austria and in the Academy of Vienna was taught music composing by masters such as Thomas Christine David, Alfred Oval, and Hanns Jelinek. In 1975 left Austria for the university of Colombia (New York) to follow his studies at the Ph.D. level and learned electronic music. Among his masters, he mentions the name of Vladimir Osachovsky, Jack Bisen, and Bülent Arel. Professional Activities Pejman before starting his university studies joined the Tehran Symphonic Orchestra as a violin player and kept on his cooperation up to the time that Sanjari and Hymo Toyber were the conductors of the orchestra. In 1968 after completing his education, he returned to Iran as a music composer and worked in Roodaki Hall, and in 1968 was invited to Tehran University as the master of music. Among his works, one can mention the opera of Farmer’s Feast (on the occasion of Roodaki Hall's inauguration), the opera of the Brave Man of Sahand, and the opera of Salamander. All these operas were performed before the Revolution in the Roodaki Hall. Works 1. Siavash Zahiraldini was born in Tehran on October 28, 1980, and after passing music courses and earning a bachelor's degree in music and learning string instruments (violin and viola), he established himself as one of the greats in the field of Iranian music. .
