Download/stream the single here: (http•••) Requiem for a Lark was inspired by Béla Bartók’s Romanian Folk Dances, a piece we used to play in our public high school orchestra class at Traverse City West Senior High. The melody of the first movement stuck with me for days, I couldn't get it out of my head. I wrote Requiem for a Lark thinking about Bartók wandering through the streets of Transylvania gathering melodies from gypsy violinists and composing his own pieces inspired by them. I was inspired by Bartók's inspiration, and the cyclical process of creation spawning creation. So I wrote Requiem For a Lark from Bartók's perspective, incorporating pieces of his melodies and chord structure. We decided to arrange and score the song for an orchestra. Shortly after, we had the amazing opportunity to collaborate with one of the top youth orchestras in the world, Contemporary Youth Orchestra in Cleveland, OH. The conductor, Liza Grossman, is an absolute genius. Requiem for a Lark was recorded LIVE in one day. Working with her, Ben Kipp and the orchestra was a complete honor. Everyone made us feel at home; during a break from rehearsal we sat on the edge of the stage with some of the students and they taught us how to fold tiny origami cranes. We still carry them with us. We are looking forward to sharing this music with you on May 1st as a digital release. As a bonus we are releasing the orchestral version with the CYO and the rock version of Requiem for a Lark on vinyl. You can purchase that on our web-store at www.theaccidentalsmusic.com/store. Thanks to the Contemporary Youth Orchestra (CYO), Liza Grossman, Ben Kipp, The Rock Hall of Fame, Maria Brunner, Amber Buist, and Sharon Corbitt for making this project a reality. Beaver Turner Rutherford Feldman Houlihan 1957 1983 1984 1986
The first 26-minute episode of the revival series Still the Beaver on commercial-free premium cable service The Disney Channel, which was debuted on Nov. 7, 1984 as the first of 26 episodes on the network before it moved to Ted Turner's WTBS Supersation for three more seasons from 1986-89 under the name The New Leave it to Beaver. This series followed a 20th anniversary TV movie reunion in 1983 of most of the cast of the classic black-and-white sitcom Leave it to Beaver that ran from 1957-63. It picks up from the end of the movie with Beaver living at the family home in Mayfield with his two sons and mother June following his divorce (June remains in the home even though in the movie she said she would sell the house to Beaver and move nearby and come to dinner once a week). As established, Beaver works with Lumpy Rutherford, Wally is a lawyer married to his high school sweetheart Mary Ellen Rogers, and Eddie Haskell runs a shyster construction company. In this series, Kipp Marcus replaced Corey Feldman as Beaver's oldest son - now called Kipp instead of Corey; Wally suddenly has an elementary school-age daughter called Kelly played by Kaleena Kiff (in the TV movie a year-and-a-half earlier their first child had just been born at the very end and it appeared to be a boy called Ward); Keri Houlihan joined the cast as J.J., Lumpy Rutherford's daughter and best friend of Kelly; Eddie Haskell's son's same switched from Junior in the movie to Frederick "Freddie" Haskell, and the death of Richard Deacon necessitated a new actor in the the role of Mr. Rutherford here.
Tung Chieh Chuang Bochumer Symphoniker 2022
