RTVE Symphony Orchestra. Carlos Kalmar, cnd. Anett Fritsch, Clara Mouriz, Paul Nilon and Robert Holl, soloists [Симфонический оркестр Испанского радио и телевидения] “Comment croire, après une pareille audition, que l'univers n'ait aucun sens?" [Emil CIORAN] 레퀴엠 D단조 (모차르트) (K.V. 626) “Un souffle de l'au-delà y plane. /

In concert at Christ Church Cathedral, Montreal on Oct 8 2018 Dov Houle - Traverso Elena Smith - Viola da Gamba Qiao Chu - Harpsichord L’Extase D’Ornace is a newly formed ensemble that aims to bring to light pieces from the French Baroque repertoire - to entertain and delight your senses. This concert programme was built with some of our favourite pieces, which we hope will lift your spirits and enchant you with the essential elegance and grace that this music evokes. For this concert our very dear friend, Elena Smith, will be joining us from Philadelphia. Dov and Elena were fortunate to meet this past summer at various summer festivals and artist training programs - through which they realized how much they enjoyed playing together - sparking the genesis of this concert! Elena and Qiao played together frequently in Philadelphia when they were both students at Temple University. Dov and Qiao regularly perform together at McGill where they are both students in the DMus program. Special thanks is due to Christ Church Cathedral for their enduring support of young artists and for the generous support of Barry Rubinoff and Laura Wiseman. Gratitude as well to our parents and teachers for their ardent support. recorded and filmed by Fili jg (Studio Apothicaire): (http•••) PROGRAMME: Deuxième Concert Royaux (1714) - François Couperin +••.••(...))
