Communicating Scientific and Technical (S&T) information is easier and faster because of the internet and social media today. But while various platforms can become instrumental in targeting many and spreading information faster, scientists and science communicators should also be equipped with the necessary skills to use these competently. This report on How the Internet and Social Media has Changed Communicating Scientific and Technical Information takes a look at how S&T communication has changed over time and presents the most-used platforms and how these can be used in sharing S&T information. The report also includes suggested actions that scientists and communicators can take in improving communication skills on these online platforms.
