A recitative and aria «Caro Figlio, Madre Cara» from Alessandro Scarlatti's oratorio «Sedecia Re di Gerusalemme». Philippe Jaroussky sings the role of Ismaele (the son of King Sedecia and his consort Anna) and Virginie Pochon sings the role of Anna (his mother). An excerpt from a recording of a live performance at Ambronay in 1999. This oratorio is available on a 2001 music album recorded by Gérard Lesne, Philippe Jaroussky, Virginie Pochon, Mark Padmore, Peter Harvey and ensemble Il Seminario Musicale.
