Λίγες μέρες πριν τη διαδικτυακή πρεμιέρα του Ντον Τζοβάννι στην GNO TV, μοιραζόμαστε μαζί σας τη διάσημη άρια «του καταλόγου» με τον Tassos Apostolou. Η νέα διεθνής συμπαραγωγή της Εθνικής Λυρικής Σκηνής ξεκινά το ταξίδι της από την Αθήνα και την GNO TV. Έρχεται στο nationalopera.gr/GNOTV από τις 14 Φεβρουαρίου, λίγο πριν παρουσιαστεί από την Όπερα του Γκαίτεμποργκ & τη Βασιλική Όπερα της Δανίας. O Ντον Τζοβάννι του Μότσαρτ είναι η πρώτη από τις διεθνείς συμπαραγωγές της Εθνικής Λυρικής Σκηνής που ήταν προγραμματισμένο να δημιουργηθεί και να κάνει πρεμιέρα στην Αθήνα και στη συνέχεια να ταξιδέψει και να παρουσιαστεί στα άλλα δύο λυρικά θέατρα που συμμετέχουν στη συμπαραγωγή. Λόγω της πανδημίας, η παραγωγή δεν παρουσιάστηκε σε κοινό, όμως βιντεοσκοπήθηκε στην Αίθουσα Σταύρος Νιάρχος και θα παρουσιαστεί σε πρώτη παγκόσμια μετάδοση από την GNO TV. Η παραγωγή του Ντον Τζοβάννι και η GNO TV υλοποιήθηκαν με τη στήριξη της δωρεάς του Ιδρύματος Σταύρος Νιάρχος (ΙΣΝ) [www.SNF.org] για την ενίσχυση της καλλιτεχνικής εξωστρέφειας της Εθνικής Λυρικής Σκηνής.Τη μουσική διεύθυνση της παραγωγής υπογράφει ο Αυστραλός αρχιμουσικός Daniel Smith τη σκηνοθεσία ο John Fulljames, συμμετέχει η Ορχήστρα και η Χορωδία της Εθνικής Λυρικής Σκηνής, ενώ στους πρωταγωνιστικούς ρόλους συναντούμε τους διακεκριμένους Έλληνες μονωδούς Τάση Χριστογιαννόπουλο, Βασιλική Καραγιάννη, Γιάννη Χριστόπουλο, Πέτρο Μαγουλά, Άννα Στυλιανάκη, Νίκο Κοτενίδη και Χρύσα Μαλιαμάνη. The catalogue aria from Mozart’s Don Giovanni performed by Tassos Apostolou Don Giovanni: Greek National Opera’s new international co-production starts its journey from Athens and GNO TV. A while before being presented by the Göteborg Opera and the Royal Danish Opera, Don Giovanni comes to nationalopera.gr/GNOTV/en from 14 February. Mozart’s Don Giovanni is the first of Greek National Opera’s international co-productions scheduled to be created and premiere in Athens, and then travel to the other two opera houses participating in the co-production. Due to the pandemic the production was not presented to a live audience, but it was video recorded in the Stavros Niarchos Hall and its world premiere will be presented on GNO TV. Don Giovanni’s production and GNO TV were made possible by a grant from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) [www.SNF.org] to enhance the Greek National Opera’s artistic outreach. Chefs d’orchestre de renommée, metteurs en scène de premier plan, chorégraphes emblématiques et protagonistes de portée internationale marquent la nouvelle programmation de l’Opéra national de Grèce pour la seconde moitié de la saison artistique 2021/22. Robert Wilson signe un Otello imposant, dans la grande coproduction du GNO avec le Festival de Baden-Baden. Yorgos Lanthimos présente son nouveau film tant attendu, intitulé Vlichi avec, en tête d’affiche, Emma Stone et Damien Bonnard, dans le cadre de la coproduction du GNO et de NEON The Artist on the Composer. La directrice du Festival d’Athènes, Katerina Evangelatos, crée un nouveau et ambitieux Rigoletto pour la scène de l’Odéon d’Hérode Atticus. Nikos Petropoulos, Renato Zanella, Hugo de Ana signent les reprises d’Andrea Chénier, Faust et Tosca, respectivement. Le remarquable Nikos Karathanos signe la mise en scène du nouvel opéra Mesa Chora (Arrière-pays). The Artistic Director of the Athens Epidaurus Festival, Katerina Evangelatos, is preparing an ambitious new production of Rigoletto to be presented at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus. Jus soli, an oratorio commissioned by the GNO from Turkish artists, is to be presented as part of the tribute programme to the bicentennial of the Greek Revolution, while a concert performance of The Songs of Struggle by Mikis Theodorakis forms part of a three-year tribute cycle to the composer.
