Pingliang, Gansu, China, August 1945) is a Chinese composer from Shaanxi. He is best known for his film scores for the Fifth Generation Chinese director Zhang Yimou. Zhao studied at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. Guanzi Concerto "Silk Road Fantasy Suite" ( 1981 ) The world-famous Silk Road was a trade route that traversed Asia and Europe more than 2,000 years ago, and was also an important channel for promoting the cultures of ancient Eastern and Western countries. The Silk Road is mysterious and full of legends. The composer uses the form of fantasy suites, the rich expressive power of the symphony orchestra, and the ancient Chinese musical instrument - the guanzi as a soloist, making this novel work more romantic and mysterious. The composer's impression of the ancient Silk Road came from his paintings. Zhao Jiping, a young man, looked at his father's paintings of landscapes he created after returning from sketching the ancient Silk Road. The composition and brush and ink in the pictures were ever-changing. The composer was left with a magical fantasy that the picture was filled with musical space. Movements 0:00 1. Erhu Concerto "Scent of the Heart" ( 2004 ) The Erhu Concerto "Scent of the Heart" is a reflection of the composer's devout pursuit of the ideal realm. In the contrast and development of different themes, the music expresses a lofty and transcendental Zen state. The music adopts a traditional sonata-style structure. The music adds a climax of the whole piece between the development part and the recapitulation part. The reflection of the main theme here appears and extends in different tones, which greatly increases the dynamic of the music. Law and Infectiousness.
