Roman Hoffstetter Haydn 1815 2015
Part of a concert at Holy Trinity church in the Ramsgate Festival 2015. The theme of the festival was the Waterloo Bicentennial, so each of the pieces has some connection with 1815, although in some cases it may be rather tenuous... This work is often referred to as "Haydn's Serenade" or the Andante Cantabile movement of Haydn's string quartet Op. 3 No. 5 in F Major, but later research has shown that it was actually composed by Roman Hoffstetter.
